Détails du projet :

Here, homelessness is not a destination, but a passage. There, there is a stop for the urban traveler who will take him elsewhere. The container is a symbol of travel, of passing from one stage to another.

The project is located on the edge of Old Montreal and the Ville-Marie borough. It is located east of Saint-Denis Street between Viger Avenue and Saint-Antoine Street. The site is located just above the Ville-Marie Expressway near the Champ-de-Mars metro station and the Old Port of Montreal. Several community organizations are also nearby.

The site covers three parks (A, B, C) representing a relatively large area of land, but unused by citizens. Right now, homeless people in the downtown area are taking over the place. The location and current use of the site have therefore been a source of inspiration for the project.
